Quick question that I hope can be answered without much effort from this wonderful community. I used it this place pretty much solely to mod my Xbox and get Surreal onto it.

I have a bunch of Rom's, but not very much disk space apparently. Setting up UnleashX made my hard drive into a few different partitions. Being crafty I spread out all my Roms to the different partitions so I can use all that free space and still play the games I love.

I didn't find anything about changing the INI to search multiple partitions, so I just have a rom path for each partition. But that didn't work... So I'm out of ideas.

Help please? uhh.gif

Oh yeah if this is in the wrong forum, sorry. I looked around a bit and I thought this was the right place.

I think surreal is notorious for being picky about where you put your roms.

I would just upgrade my hard drive a bit, you could just get a 80GB HD or something.... or 500GB, which ever lol

Hmm... I have a 20gb harddrive laying around, I might install that if I can't get Surreal to find the other roms. I don't really feel like cracking my xbox open again though... sad.gif

There is a Roms folder in the Surreal directory... I think F:\Roms works too.

See, I filled that partition up. I've filled like 3 of them up now with roms.

if you have a lot of roms and not enough room on your xbox hdd then tgisn is what i would do.
1.burn all the roms to dvdr in a roms folder.
2.go to the ini and change it to A:\roms
4.delete the surreall gamesave in t and u data folders.
5.reboot xbox, put the disc in the xbox and boot up surreall.
6.you might need to hit the y button on your controller for the emulator to refresh the romlist.

Yeah... If you don't want to upgrade the disk idea would be a good quick fix. But for the sake of it being cooler, you should conciser a new HD, you can get used ones pretty cheap these days.
