I feel very lucky when an entire transfer goes without an error.

i do many large transfers between xbox's using the ftp in unleashx.

i use unleashx cause it gets way faster transfer speeds then xbmc for some reason (~10 mb/s compared to the ~3.5 xbmc gets)

why does it always get errors?

i mean i finally get everything transferred but usually takes a few trys and some fenagaling (like selecting all folders within a folder individually then transferring them).

it just seems the ftp is super unstable. is this normal? is there a work around?

There is a bug in UnleashX FTP client. Make sure you push files from source to destination, don't pull them. If you pull files then it misses some files/folders, as you have found out.

This problem doesn't exist if you use XBMC as the client.

thanks! pushing not pulling worked well.

another question. is there an ftp for xbox that has the "skip" option. as in all files that already exist in the destination folder, the ftp will skip those files?

I'm having issues getting flashfxp to move files to my xbox. Everything fails within a matter of seconds. Any ideas as to how to fix this?

Is the destination partition full?

What messages are you getting in the FlashfXP log and console?
