This is an experimental update to the driver to make it work ok with Debian Lenny/Sid. The colours problems is fixed as well as the driver not compiling/booting on latest X.Org. I have only tested on my machine running Sid fully upgraded, please report if it compiles / run ok on other distributions.

XenosFB Updated driver

Sound is already supported. When we get some more features added on the 2.6.33 kernel we will try to make a new livecd.

i cant wait for an updated linux with sound and better graphics driver (2D acceleration would be awesome wink.gif )
imo thats much more intresting than "most" xdk stuff.

@Sonic-NKT
As MaDMaLKaV mentioned bevore, Sound is already implemented.
Take a look here http://www.xbox-scen...lVulUXwsEKC.php

@Topic
I tried to compile it in my installed ubuntu 7.10 but still no luck.
got errors over and over.

I will try to compile it with the debian live cd but that is my last resort.

Okay, but where is it ? lol
Thought it should be a file called "xenosfb_drv.so" but there is no such file in your "xenosfb_source.zip" archiv.

Other thing, do u have some sort of install.sh for your debian sid including your updated xenosfb?
Already searched the whole net but most debian install scripts contain offline links.

The binary should be somewhere here: http://www.mediafire.../?toule9azzud9m

About Debian install script, I used one from free60.org for an old version I apt-get updated , aput-get upgraded and apt-get distupgraded it like seven times to get into Sid.

wow 7 times sounds like a lot installation time.
I will try to update to ubuntu 8.04 LST Hardy via the built in upgrade function.
Will let u know if it works.

Thank's again.

By the way:
With the new dashlaunch 2.0 for J-tag consoles u are able to launch xell from the sytem menue.
This enables full cpu speed in Linux.
Just like it was with the original King Kong exploit.
