I am in the middle of modding a V1.1 Xbox with an Xecuter 2.6 CE, unfortunately I hit a snag........
.......I lifted the bottom D0 solder pad. The top D0 trace/pad is perfectly fine, never been touched.

My urgent question is this: Can I just solder to the top D0 point and neglect fixing the bottom D0 pad since I will be using a modchip and will never have the need to use the stock M$ Dashboard?

Thanks!

Nevermind......found out the answer!

(BTW, the answer is yes, with a modchip you can botch the alternate d0 spot and not have to repair it as long as you can still use the top d0 spot and don't mind not having the stock M$ Dashboard)

You can still have the stock dashboard with a modchip, even the stock bios if you wish.
