I got an e82 error on my slim and it only happened once and worked again. but now its happening everytime. any1 know what it is?

Is mean for me i getting a wii, the slim is with same problems like phat. MS care about live, and billions of dollars from there. Thats all.

well i just took all the plugs out and still didnt work then i took out the HDD tried it and it worked then put it back in and it worked. debating on whether or not to take it back still. i think i 30 days at the store and 1 year from MS

Just take it back and get it replaced where you bought it. It shouldn't be giving you any error messages.

yeh it was working but now its continueing... takin it back tonight. i took a video of the error so every1 can see it. ill post ltr

Why don't you try calling Microsoft? My slim is working fine, and so is most of them but every product is going to have defects.

Care to take a picture also, because every site claimed there would be no more E** errors, instead you get a descriptive error and audible beeping. So please post a picture of this error if you can.

Chances are if it keeps re-appearing, there is a bad or loose connection somewhere. If you've opened it before, check all the wires and cables to make sure they're all securely fastened. Make sure all the peripherals are tightened up, make sure it has plenty of room to breathe, and hell, try setting it right side up. You never know. wink.gif
