I received a zephyr to repair that had an overheating problem as well as the RROD. I performed a reflow of the gpu which fixed the rrod and then upgraded the compound to fix the overheating. Worked fine, it had the old dash so i did the jtag using the new aud clamp smc method. I got the 0020 or e08, i removed the jtag and it worked fine.

I tried the jtag again, and i tested it with the wiring no rrod. Flashed free60 or xell and got the 0020 again, restarted and 10 sec later i get e79. Tried restarting and i get the e 79 after counting to about 10. Previously on other consoles with bad wiring e79 would be almost instant. I reflashed the original nand got it too boot and then started from scratch but still e79.

I redid the wiring and checked for issues none. I even used the fiberglass pen on the tiny points.
