These are original retail Xbox hard drives removed during hard drive upgrades. These hard drives have the Xbox Live dashboard installed (which happens to be compatible with all kernal versions).

One Seagates (10gig) - $15.00 USD

Buyer pays shipping

PM or email me if interested, post here with questions

Here are some Heatware references.

Wow this is a really old post. Anyways I do have one Seagate here. In your case a replacement hard drive will not work because your Xbox requires the hard drive to be locked. I would have to ship them unlocked as each Xbox has its own unique hard drive key.

EDIT: If you wanted to use a replacement hard drive, the replacement hard drive would have to have the MS dashboard and your Xbox would have to have a mod-chip installed to ignore the non-locked hard drive problem.

There are some people on the forums who sell Cheapmods which go anywhere between $8-12. I've personally used one to boot with an unlocked hard drive to set the clock before TSOP flashing a motherboard that was sent to me.

I can hear the hd and disk drive runiing and it wont load a game either? lol this isnt realy the place to be askin . Ill get back to u if u still have the hd when i find a mod chip.
