This was a rude awakening indeed...

There are certain games that make use of something in the original SNES called High Resolution Mode. Three of these games are RPM Racing, Rudra no Hihou (Treasure of the Rudras) and Seiken Densetsu 3.

Let's take Rudra no Hihou as an example. When you have 512x448 or a higher resolution in ZSNES, the text in areas like this will appear just fine:

It's all well and good. You can get this appearance in ZsnexBox as well, but only by disabling filters, which is not an option if you want fullscreen with Billinear + Simple2x in order to avoid corrupt pixels. Thus making the image look like it's from the real console. If these filters are enabled, this happens:

Obviously, not in an image as sharp, but you get the idea. As you can see, the text gets garbled. But everything else remains the same. Weird, huh?

Btw, 512x448 doesn't seem to work in ZsnexBox, even with 10x11 turned off. The image gets really, REALLY thin. Like anorectic.

I just want to know if there's a way to make the graphics, such as the dialogue text above, look right in ZsnexBox while keeping the filters enabled?
