Hey Mates

i have the exact same problem as more people here.
i have the value's of the 4 pin blue ray drive connector

but i am not a good solder guy not enough experience to connect it to a atx
could u guys test it?

a mate has tested his ps3 blue ray 4 power cable with a multi meter
the values are:

12v, ground,ground, 5v
but sometimes the 12v is 8 to 10 v
i think no game in drive 8v,
spinning 10v
reading game is 12v

so watch out with that..

12v is up
5v is down
so when you look from the power button side

it is

pin 1 12v
pin 2 ground
pin 3 ground
pin 4 5v

now i ask u guys to try to disconnect the blue ray drive from the ps3
and connect only the blue ray ribbon cable to the ps3 mainboard
than connect the drive from atx to ps3

let me know
it will help a lot of people smile.gif

see ya

with Regards
