I just got the 4 gb slim and i want to get a 250 gb hard drive for it.

I know about the one specifically for the slim but its way overpriced.

Can anyone recommend me a hard drive that i can use as my primary memory unit for my xbox?

Is this the same Hard Drive that GameCrazy sells for twice the price?? Is this the solution to the dreaded Halo Reach "You need a hard drive to play online" problem? In other words... does this Hard Drive make the 4gig Slim just like a 250gb Xbox you'd pay a $100 more for in the stores?

We got our son the Slim for Xmas, and I want to make sure I know what's what when we go to play it on Xmas morning, and I have time to prepare if I act now.

Thanks!

No, it is not the genuine one. And in past some HDD sold from dealextreme were reported to have less capacity than supposed to be. Thu, I can't confirm such blames. Anyway, it is a trial and error procedure always when you buy from chinese companies. As long it is real 250GB you have nothing to be afraid of. It will work like a charm.
