My 360 recently just recently got the red ring and I did the fix and it worked great for about 3 weeks. Just the other day I threw in a game and out of the blue the image started having a lot of color errors, it almost looks like you're looking at the matrix. I took pictures and a video, I will put the links at the end of this. I opened the box back up and the thermal pads on what i believe is the ram had begun to melt and were not staying on the ram chip. It has not given me an error yet, but one time it shut down automatically and when it restarted it said it had been shut off due to poor ventilation. If anyone knows how to fix this that would be awesome, thank you.

its a cold solder spot under the gpu,the only way to fix this permanently is a reflow or reball.
There`s DIY tutorials on XS Filter - 062508 - filtered.s
