just trying to get some clearifcation here...

so even when LT+ releases, i won't be able to boot ap2.5 games ? since my drive is spoofed ?

is there no old fw that will allow these games to play ? i'm guessing no.

so then i'll have to get a liteon drive ? will any liteon drive do ?

if that's the case, what's the cheapest/best site to order one from ?

thanks for any help guys.

I would imagine the console will boot ap2.5 so long as the drive has lt+, regardless of spoofing, but it wouldn't be safe for Live.

the only troublesome spoofing for LT is the ones that can detect AP25 and those that cant and vice versa..

if you have a samsung spoofed as a liteon or benq then the xbox expects the drive to be a benq or liteon which is capable of AP25 checks. so it asks the drive to give its response. as samsung cant handle AP25 it will fail the checks and therefore flag for a ban..

if you spoof a benq with a liteon they are BOTH capable of AP25 so shouldnt cause the same probs. although ANY spoofing over live increases your risk

alright, so then i don't need to get a liteon ?

i can just spoof the new lt+ just fine as i did the previous fw ?

i think so then...

once again, thanks for the info.

it's appreciated.
