The short story is when I Jtagged my 360 I had an old hard drive shell and a 160GB drive lying around so I just chucked it on and it has been fine since.

Now its nearly full and I have a 500gb drive in the post.

What is the best/quickest way for migrating all the data from the 160GB drive to the 500GB drive? I have been searching and can't find a definitive answer.

You can ether FTP all the files to your PC then put the new drive in and FTP them back or connect a USB hard drive formated with FAT32 and transfer all the files to it then back to your new hard drive.

Went for the FTP approach, it took a while but has worked just fine.

Thanks
