Hi all

Noob question for you all about Mandriva.

Managed to install Mandriva on an 80gb hd, it took me a week ???

I have the following hardware

Xbox V1.0,iiyama vision master 502 SOG Moniter,SOG VGA Cable,HD video cable,composite video cable,Component to vga Adapter,Emprex wireless keyboard/trackball,Intellimouse trackball with ps2tousb adaptor.

The VGA cable that works great with XDSL,Gentoox,Xebian & sxb, but i just can't seem to use anything but composite video cable with Mandriva and have to feed it through the green input on my component to vga adaptor and only get a black and white image. Ive tried editing my xf86 config but it seems make no difference.

And before you ask why im trying to get Mandriva to use VGA its because its the only distro that seems to recognizes my emprex keyboard/trackball straight away.

So any help would be much appreciated.
