Well, I got banned in 08 with the NXE update. The 360 would then corrupt the hard drive. Now I just updated to the most recent dashboard via USB and was wondering if it will corrupt the hard drive still if I tried? I have a good amount of DLC and don't want to have to re-download it all, so I'm asking before I test. Thanks!

I updated my banned xbox yesterday, all content is working on the console as before, but I think that's normal, I may be wrong but doesn't it only show as corrupt if using the hdd or files from the hdd on another xbox, this is not the hdd i was using when I was banned.

If someone knows how I can test this let me know and I'll try.

If you can place your hard drive in that xbox, start a game for a save, then put it in an unmodded console and see if it is corrupted. That would be great if you could test that.
