Hi guys

I have a problem with XBMC on my XBOX1: when i turn on XBOX, it appears the Evox Menu, with only 2 options:
- Launch Disk
- System Settings
Iīd like that when i turn on XBOX, that it boots to XBMC Menu, but iīve tried every thing that i could find in foruns and tutorials, but i canīt resolved it. sad.gif Can someone please help me?

I donīt know it is soft ou hardmoded sad.gif

The info that i suppose that could be usefull are:
BIOS Version: Evox M8 BFM
Kernel Version: 1.00.5101.01
Xbox Hardware info: 00000210 A3 D4

I Have the follwing disks: C, E, F, G, X, Y and Z.

I have the XMBC folder in C:\XBMC and also in E:XBMC and also E:\Apps\

Many thanks in advance and please help me if you could

It looks as though it's soft modded, and you've deleted the dash from the E:\ partition so it's now just booting the rescue dash. Quite why it's doing that from a BFM BIOS (Evox M8 BFM) I'm not sure, but lets not worry about that.

Grab HeXEn (Heimdall's Xbox Engineering Disc, use Google to find it). Burn to DVD-R at 4x or slower, and boot with it in the drive. The LED will turn red, and the menu will appear after around 40 seconds. Use option 2.1.2 or 2.1.3 to install Kingroach NDURE 3.1, or options 2.2.2 to 2.2.7 to install Krayzie 1.1.1 - pick the one you prefer, and pick the right region! Then select option 4.1. Install XBMC to E. Use FTP to delete the current XBMC installation from E:\Apps\XBMC and replace it with the latest version. Reboot and make sure that XBMC works when you run it as an application from the dashboard.

Once XBMC works as an application you can use the dashboard switching tool (either run from the default UnleashX dash or from HeXEn - Option 5.1.2.3. or 5.1.3.3 Switch to XBMC on E) to change the default dash to XBMC.

Iīve burn your disc and put it in xbox dvd drive, but when boot xbox, it goes to error 13 ou error 14 and doesnīt boot to your disc sad.gif Can you help me again please?

Google Errors and found:
13 - kernel - Dashboard launch fail (due to missing/bad key, or anything else that would prevent it from running) and the dashboard didn't specify why it failed.

14 - dashboard - Error loading dashboard (dashboard generic error)

Best regards and many thanks in advance

Is this the same Xbox, or a different one?

Is it the same copy of the HeXEn disc you used previously?

What did you do to make this happen? Which HeXEn options did you select?

sounds like the softmod files have been overwritten and your dash cant load now.
I assume you cant boot to the dash without a dvd in the xbox either.

How were you updating XBMC? If you installed the softmod with HeXEn as per my previous post there's no way a simple dash upgrade could brick your Xbox, so you must have been doing something strange.

Is HeXEn burned to DVD-R?

Since the HeXEn cd wouldnīt boot, i try it with AID, and as far as i remember, it stop boot to AID disk when AID asks to erase or something like that the softmod, and it asks press A to continue, and there was no way to exit or something sad.gif So i guess it erase the softmod sad.gif The ligths twinkles between red and green and it only boots to that 2 errors screens sad.gif
I soo noooobbb sad.gif

And yes HeXEn is burn to DVD-R.

PS: I have the original XBOX disk in safe, xbox has now a new disk since it was modded long time ago.

Did you upgrade the softmod with HeXEn back in July? If you did then AID shouldn't have been able to erase the softmod.

No insult intended but I think some more clarification is needed due BMFD's imprecise use of terms.

What exactly was meant in the PS. by "I have the original XBOX disk in safe, xbox now has new disk as it was modded long time ago."? What is he talking about: the HeXen disc he used to install XBMC as the main dash or, possibly, the retail HDD?

Does the Xbox concerned still have the same HDD fitted that was softmodded and previously working before using HeXen?
