i was looking on the web sometime ago and i found this site http://chui.dcemu.co.uk/pcsx4all.html
it seems to be a modified version of pcsx(the core engines used in pcsxbox) with some nice improvements like the speed, for me one of the problems of pcsxbox....here some features of pcsx4all

-Faster MIPS R3000A CPU recompiler
-Compatible MIPS R3000A CPU interpreter
-Assembler written Geometry Transfer Engine (GTE) core
-BIOS emulation (HLE) and normal BIOS for compatibity
-Faster GPU Software
-Savestates support
-Complete sound emulation: XA and CD-Audio
-Artwork by Zenzuke
-Complete Frontend: CPU, video, sound and savestate configuration
-CD-ROM images supported: ISO, BIN, BIN+CUE, BIN+TOC, IMG+CCD, MDF+MDS and IMG+SUB

the autors said that most games run ok on 700 MHz clock speed.

so....what you think about....if you are a coder...why dont try port this one for xbox?? wink.gif
