This has most probably been covered.

I've got a modded Xbox which plays NTSC games but they're not at the speed they should be.

I've noticed it with 2 games, DOAXBV and Fatal Frame. DOAXBV is far too slow in the volleyball game. Fatal Frame is too slow because the audio finishes before the cutscene finishes.

Is there a piece of software that will boot the Xbox in NTSC mode rather than PAL mode?

Enigmah Video Mode selector can change the output from pal to ntsc or from ntsc to pal ,but it stays like that till you put it back.

Or you could just set your xbox to output in pal60 ,then the games will be 60hz which is the correct speed for the ntsc ones.

My Xbox is already in Pal60 and the games are still slow. I used to have this problem with my modded Sega Saturn until I fitted a 50hz/60hz switch.

I'll give Enigmah Video Mode selector a try.

Thanks!

Thanks Min, The video selector fixed the speed problem. The games play at proper speeds now.

I've always thought that PAL60 was different to normal 60hz.
