I have a slim with a liteon 9504 drive in it and with the dash previous to the 13599 (latest one).
It has never been opened/flashed before and I would like to know if I should.

Which of these should I do:

1. Update to latest dash 13599 and then flash with LT+ 1.9 which was just released?
2. Flash LT+ 1.9 and then update to 13599 since I have heard that the latest dash locks the drive fw?
3. Flash with LT+ 1.9 and DO NOT update at all?

3. Dont update at all unless you have a replacement pcb board. Once you apply the update it will flash the drive to the new stock firmware and lock it down.

oh so if i install new update i would need that pcb from xecuter right?
the 9504s weren't affected until this update right?
also if i put in new pcb and "lock" it, then update dash will it get flagged when it sees the fw was not flashed?
