My friend is moving to Brazil next month and he owns an NTSC/U jtagged xbox 360. I know that I can change the Xbox region with jtag tool, I know how to do it, it is not the issue.

My question is, when you change the region, the output of the system also changes ?

Brazil uses PAL and ISDB-T as the High definition standard. So let's say I change the region to NTSC/J, as Japan uses the same standard for HD as Brazil, would the Xbox work on Brazilian HD TVs ?

changing the region for the games should be fine as for tv output he should just kept his ntsc tv bring it to brazil and get a 110 to 220 output adapter for the plug. For the video hdmi would be best to use
