Ok guys not sure if anyone else is having this issue but i have a jasper 512 jtag with 13599 dash and dashlaunch 2.23b and running all games from external hdd. So my problem is i been playing Dead Island for days now with out a hitch until today when i try to continue the game at mission 14 and when it try to load i get "Fatal Crash Intercepted " error. So i extracted the game again with xbox imagine browser thinking maybe it was a corrupt file but that was a no go . So i try wx360 next and still no go . Next i reinstall FSD thinking that might be the problem and nope nothing, Next i try booting from XEXmenu still nothing. So the last thing i try is converting it to a god with Iso2God like some people have done here on the forums an still no go . So any help here would be appreciated since im running out of ideas .

Are you sure your save didn't get corrupted?

If it's corrupted, it's very unlikely you'll be able to do anything about it. If you have a LIVE console, you could try booting the save on that. If it loads, there's an issue with the setup on your exploited box. If it doesn't, the problem is likely the save.

Mission 14 is an escort mission, it is corrupted (mine corrupted there the first time). The TU1 for the game says it fixes the bugs in escort missions, but I'm not sure if it does. While going through the game 2 times, my save corrupted 3 times. The game is VERY buggy, if TU1 doesn't fix it, you'll probably have to start over.

Oh ok that sucks since i dont have a second box to check the save file. Any other ways to check ? Dont think my jtag box is the problem since i can play the rest of the games without any issues except this one.

Julets-- I did look for Tu for the game but didnt find any but i'll give that a go and report back

Same thing happened to me. I was using the Dead Island trainer, and skipped ahead to a later mission. The next time I went to boot the game, fatal crash. I'm not sure if it was Mission 14 though. I just started over and stopped cheating lol. It's been working fine ever since.

I beat it fine on my jtag. Mine is the official XGD3 version. I ran it from my dvd drive. So maybe that your problem. Try beating it using the original. It should work without problem.

How many items do you store with Jin?

Some of the things I have read is that once you get about about the 175 mark and save a couple of times, your game gets corrupted.

I happened to me, twice. I had to try and overload her again and that seems to be what broke mine.

What annoys me most is from what I have read is that they have fixed it for the PS3. C'mon, I paid for the game too. Fix it for us Xbox users. blink.gif
