Does it have to be a .zip, lots of people say that it does. Because i have an .exe in it... will it still work?or should i re-write from it?

You dont need that large of a dummy file. I used nero.exe and made it into a .zip file and added that (was about 4.3MB for the dummy file). Dont need anything huge just something to bulk up the cd a little.

You should. Just use like a 50 meg file. Maybe only 10 megs. I use 50, it works fine for me with 50mb. I name my dummie file zzzz.dat, but I'm sure you can use another file name.

Do you include the dummy file in the .iso? or do you make an iso for evox.ini default.xbe and skins.
and say name it evox.iso, then in nero do you put the dummy file under it? or is it all in 1????

it's all in one. the premise behind it is the xbox reads from the outside in, so you want your readable data on the outside. The dummy file fills the inside, forcing the good data to the outside
