Hello, I am very proficient (usually) with computers and linux. When I boot xboxhdm, it is giving me my drives as hdc and hdd. Now this is a 2 year old computer (my other computer was 7 years old and it did xboxhdm just fine).

So I have some experience is using xboxhdm. The new computer has only one primary ide controller and the computer bios sees my drive has primary master and my dvd drive as primary slave. I have disabled sata so that they are not detected and have even disconnected them manually.

Still, my hard drive is always hdc. How do i fix this? Is there an option to have xboxhdm use hdc instead of hda?

-Thanks

Use xboxhdm 2.2, as it is designed to work on machines that only have one IDE port and can boot from USB.

Looks great, but how do I install it in linux? My flash drive is fat32 and I run ubuntu linux on all my computers.

-Thanks
