This was either the 3rd or 4th reball I had done for him. Different consoles.
He sent me videos demonstrating some power glitches. Figure it might be some Power Regs or other transistors. When the consoles arrives to me - No glitches.
After looking over the motherboard, found missing SMT and curve to the Mobo and Gpu.
Setup a mild heat treatment to straighten out the board - using just underside heating.
After that, the console displayed an E74. So, started in on a reball. Reball did not correct. Did the process again .... still no.
Upon removing the original Gpu a third time; the power core started a collapse on the bottom chip layer.
So .... an appropriate Gpu replacement was bought and installed. Console still came back with RROD. Pulled and reballed the replacement Gpu .... Still RROD after that.
Moral of the story ? ... there is none

This time, not a 360 console at all. But an Apple iMac.
prb sent me the Graphics Card to work on. I reballed the Processor chip with fresh Leaded spheres. Chip is an Nvidia 7600 GT.
prb reports that the work was successful.

He took the time to find out exactly what was going on and solved the problem, along with cleaning up some of my rushed soldering.
Thanks again, updated to the latest dash using j-runner, and all is well.
Shipping was reasonable as well.
