Hey guys,

Noob here! So I've been looking for a way to control an additional fan automatically, using temperature. I had a quick ggogle search and came across this website http://www.radiolocm...s.html?di=47949 showing you how to make it happen.

Do you think it'll work inside the 360? And if so where would be the best place to mount the NTC Temp Sensor?

Also I can imagine that MOSFET getting pretty hot when the system is at idle temp can anyone think of a way to cool it down?

Thanks

Thats a bloody brilliant idea, its so small it will easily fit in a 360. As to where to place the sensor at a guess i would say on or near the GPU heatsink as thats the key to 360 heat control.

Great, can anyone tell me why the MOSFET is there? Can you not just use the Pot and thermistor? Is it there to deal with the excess voltage when the system is cool?
