Quick question,

I know that Toshiba Samsung drive is incapable to of AP 2.5 and therefore stopped at 2.01 as per c4eva's decision and work.

My question is that going forward does your media for this drive require the Table Data ppfs even though it can't correctly read them? Simple logic would say no as if it can't be read it can't be read, however does adding that table change the structure of the disc to have information in the correct place?

A technical answer would be great (for learning purposes and I know that this will be asked again). smile.gif Also, admin please feel free to move if necessary.

No it does not require it, but for future sake I would patch the required xgd2 titles and ALL xgd3 with the topology anyway. Your samsung or old hitachi will ignore it and the game will still work. But what if you eventually get a new xbox or dvd drive and it happens to need the topology data? You would have to reburn every single xgd3 title again!
