it not as bad as some ive seen lol
if those pads are missing(i cant tell from that pic) its some work to fix it but not impossible(depends on skill)
if they are just desoldered then it needs cleaning and tinning ready for new stick

Hmmmm... That looks very weird. I have seen so many controllers get messed up. I have also done it the first time. I had to retrace my PCB as i burnt a trace off when changing the LED's in my controller. This however does not look as bad as some controller mess ups. Its natural to mess up when soldering.

Here is an image of a controller PCB before any mods are done. Take time to check to see if any parts are missing on the controller.

However the controller is fixable it would be advisable to go and buy another. See i buy second hand controllers from my local game store and mod them. I can paint, change LED's, Change all buttons, Rapid fire chips etc. It took quite some time to get the grips of soldering but practice makes perfect. If you have a friend who can solder ask them to help you or just search the web for soldering tips and tutorials.

I am currently deciding whether i should sell my controller mods or not. I am just wandering how much it will cost to ship and to get a website set up and hosted. Anyway away from that that is in the future.

You should continue modding and soldering and i am definitely interested in mods so please post up what you have done. It would be awesome love.gif love.gif love.gif

Happy modding to everyone. Always be a modding ph34r.gif

Ryan
