here goes i have 2 consoles

1)old one no hdmi ms 28 drive from factory
2)jaser hdmi liteon 8385 v1
3)spare ms 25 from dead console.

Did console 1 no problems i'm on the latest dash on LT2.01 everything works fine.
Console 2 updated to the last dash, liteon is now 0251 updated to LT 3.0

OK i have halo annivsersary ready, it works on console 1 but not in console 2 i get "disc not supported".
So i took the old sammy i had and flashed LT 2.01 spoofed it and threw in console number 2, everything reads fine exept gxd3 games. i get "dirty disc error"

I guess that the laser might have issues in the ms 25 drive cause the error iis different "dirty disc " instead of "disc not supported" that i get with the liteon. this maybe cause sammy doesn't check ap 25.

flashed the liteon back to LT 2.0, and still nothing.

There is a patch on the net LT3.0 to LT2.0 topotogy will this solve it?

I need the console number 2 working on order to play games in 3d cause of the hdmi.

What troubles me is that it does work on console number 1 , and having the same setup, with a spoofed sammy on console number 2 which gives the dirty disc error. It doesn't.

Any ideas. I'll give the LT3.0 to LT 2.0 patch a try.

Did that just for testing, there is nothing wrong with my liteon drive, runs orig and older bups, not xgd3. Did that I ran both halo anniversary and gow3 through abgx, they pass all tests. I currently reflashed my liteon with LT2.0 still nothing

Finallty i got everything working.

here is what i did, passed the iso through abgx passed.
Set the book type to DVD-ROM just like in the old bups.
Burned with imgburn, at 2.4x instead of truncate i chose over burn i also noticed that the layer brake from xgd3 seems to be incorrect i actually used 2086912. Threw an error at the end, but it asks to close de session.

Skyrim now works, i'll try the rest, by the way im using a sony dvd burner Q30A

************************************************** ***
INSTRUCTIONS FOR BURNING XGD3 BACKUPS WITH IMGBURN

We recommended that you use the latest version of ImgBurn (v2.5.5.0
at the time of writing, downloadable at
. Older versions may
handle this process differently and/or give a different set of
errors.

Although it is set by default in ImgBurn, please ensure that under
Tools > Settings > Write, you have "Layer Break (For DL Media)" set
to "Calculate Optimal".

Please ensure that the layerbreak is set as 2133520 in the .dvd file.
If you already have the XGD2 (or other) layerbreak value set in
ImgBurn, the .dvd of the XGD3 ISO will override that setting and use
the proper layerbreak.

As mentioned above, ImgBurn will automatically reposition/limit the
layerbreak to 2086912 when burning to regular DVD+R DL discs.

Please see the included imgburn-xgd3-errors.png image for screenshots
of the errors you'll encounter in ImgBurn and what to click on in
each dialog that pops up.

Step by Step:

1. Choose "Write image file to disc", and after loading the .dvd
file, click "Write".

2. ImgBurn will pop up a notice saying that there is not enough
space on the disc to burn the image, and asks if you would like to
continue anyway. Click "Yes".

3. Another message might pop up saying that optimal layerbreak
position exceeds L0 capacity. Click "Yes".

4. An error will then pop up noting that "Set L0 Data Zone
Capacity Failed". Click "Continue".

5. The image will begin writing to the disc.

6. Nearing the end of the write process, ImgBurn will pop up an
error at around 97% or 98% (this is what we want -- it's
intentional!). Click "Cancel".

7. A notice will then pop up asking if you would like ImgBurn to
try and perform the "'Close Track/Session/Disc' functions". Click
"Yes".

8. Let the disc finalize, and you're done!

Yep read that, but im in Chile no ihas here can only order on ebay.
For now it works, i only play offline, so i don't mind getting flagged.
By the way, i tired it with the ms25 spoofed drive and it works flawlessly.

Reading this thread has given me a headache. I can't work out what you were even asking, yet you seem to have resolved....something(?) and it still makes no sense.

Games where not working on LT 3.0, with liteon drive.
Burnt them as suggested in another forum, now they work.
