My 360 dvd drive doesnt seem to be recognised by my 360. I was trying to flash it with the new IExtreme 3.0 but after i pressed Outro /ATA reset my drive couldnt be found by my PC nor could i open or close the tray and whenever i pushed the eject button the xbox lights would only blink very fast and notheing else would happens. Ive been told that the drive is still in Mode B ready to be flashed but sometimes the lights blink green all the time and sometimes it never blinks.

Have i bricked my DVD drive?

Can i get back to mode A?

Why isnt my drive recognised by my PC or my 360 if it where i Mode B my pc would be able to recognise it.

Any help is appreciated

mode b is for hitachis only please read up!!

you drive is prob just bad flashed

you need to erase the drive and reflash it.

boot into native dos and use the 10 second trick to get vendor mode
