I have a Trinity (RGH) which acts crazy.
When you plug in the power the Xbox 360 boot by itself without you touching the power button. After it has booted it works fine for some time then it turns itself off.
If it is completely cold off the first run could work for about 1,5 hour but from the second boot and onwards the time the Xbox is powered on is dropping severly. In the end it turns itself off in less than a minute.
We tried changing the CoolRunner card to a Squirt 360 with no result and even running the box stock. Still no improvement.
Something is probably shorten to ground as it boot up by just plugging in the power cable. Just can't find this shorting. Wonder if it is the same problem that makes it turn off though.
Anyone encountered a problem like this before and found a solution?
I should mention that the temperature of the mem and CPU seems to make no diffrence. Even if you run the fans at 100 % giving the Xbox 360 low temps it still turns itself off. It does not make any sound when it turns itself off, it just fades out. While fading you can actually still browse in the dashboard. The fading is over in about 0,5 second before it is completely shut off. While running the Xbox is running perfect. No graphic glitches, no nothing. Everything works perfect.
