I updated my dash to the most recent version off xbox live, presumably resetting my Benq drive to stock. Using Jungleflasher, I flashed the LT 3.0 firmware. The process went without a hitch.

Unfortunately no backups launch, and they go straight to a black screen and hang (can't bring up the menu with the middle "X" button on controller, no sound can be heard) forcing me to hard reset.

This is an old xbox from mid 2007, original benq drive so no spoofing.

I've run the iso's through ABGX360 lvl 3, everything checked out, and I'm burning with an old SONY DVDDL burner using imgburn software. I've used this burner in the past (years ago) and it worked with older firmware versions (around 1.5-1.6)

Any suggestions on what to do?

TY in advanced

I recommend you make sure you are on the latest ABGX (1.0.6 i think).
Also invest in a IHAS Burner Max (google it).
And lastly make sure you use verbatim DL media.

Thanks for the reply. I have an up-to-date ABGX and i'm using Verb DVD+R DL media (001 variety). The IHAS burner I will look into. I'm pretty certain the problem is with the burns, and I was reaching by hoping someone had a similar problem at some point.

What games are you having issues with? How are you ripping them?
