I was using Surreal 64 CE B5.5 and I noticed that when you enable mempak the games run significantly clunkier and choppier as opposed to a rumble pack. Also when mempak is enabled, if i exit the game and go back later, it has no memory of my previous save. Has anyone else had this problem? The way around it is to use save states but it'd be nice to have the mempak function cause sometimes loading save states cause the system to freeze. This may just be something I did wrong when installing it but anyone else having similar problems or know a way around it?

Thanks.

Can I get some info on the game and emulator you are using? Mempaks are working fine for me in Turok - Dinosaur Hunter.

Games like Tony hawk and battle tanx play choppy on project 64 or 1964 with mempak but then the second I load the game with a rumble pack, they play perfect.
