Wasabi 360 Ultra firmware v1.3 BETA 2 released
Posted by GaryOPA | November 7 18:15 EST | News Category: Xbox360
Multi-disc support added!
The Wasabi team has released another firmware update for the 360 device

We have been informed about the new firmware update of the Wasabi 360 Ultra for Xbox 360 consoles, specifically the v1.3 BETA 2:

We have released Wasabi 360 Ultra firmware v1.3 BETA 2 which includes the following changes:

*** Multi disc support for the DVDMenu system.
*** Fix the missing last 4 digits ODD key "16D4S drives" from WASABI display information.

Slim Hitachi drives and Lite-On 16D5S drives are supported by Wasabi360S providing that you have the drive key. The drive key for these models cannot currently be extracted automatically and can be obtained through using the RGH mod. There are many tutorials on the web detailing how to extract drive keys using the RGH mods.

We are currently researching support for HDD's with 1024 bytes sector size. This will be supported in a future release.

The Wasabi 360 Ultra users guide has been updated to reflect the changes in this firmware release. Both may be obtained from the downloads page.

More info in the link below.

How to use Multi Disc support with DVD Menu enabled in Wasabi 360 Ultra Firmware 1.3 BETA 2

By doing the following it disables the DVD Menu temporary each time.

When the game instructs you to insert another disc.

1.First hold down the RIGHT button on the Wasabi 360 Ultra control panel.
2.Then eject the emulated ISO by pressing the eject button on your console.
3.Press the “guide” button on your controller to bring up the Xbox Guide menu.
4.Scroll right to the “Media” tab, then “Select Music” and finally “Current Disc”.
5.You will be presented with your list of ISO’s represented by folders, in the same manner as the standard menu system.
6.Select the ISO you wish to change to, and press the eject button on your console one final time.
7.Wasabi 360 Ultra will then mount the selected ISO. Press the guide button again to return to the game, which will now continue loading with the correct ISO mounted.
