Would you please post the modified mxm_skin.xml?
So it would be easy for me to copy & paste it in my own mxm_skin.xml.

So it would be easy for me to copy & paste it in my own mxm_skin.xml.

Of course here it is

<Config>
<Main>
<SkinsPath>C:\Skins</SkinsPath>
</Main>
<Network>
<UseDHCP>false</UseDHCP>
<xIP>192.168.2.4</xIP>
<DNS1>192.168.2.1</DNS1>
<DefaultGateway>192.168.2.1</DefaultGateway>
<SubnetMask>255.255.255.0</SubnetMask>
</Network>
<Preferences>
<SynchronizeClock>true</SynchronizeClock>
<TimeServerIP>192.168.0.100</TimeServerIP>
<Nickname>Rays Xbox</Nickname>
</Preferences>
<Overrides>
</Overrides>
<FTPServer>
<User>
<Name>xbox</Name>
<Password>xbox</Password>
</User>
</FTPServer>
<Newsfeed name="user">
<Global>True</Global>
<RotateChannels>False</RotateChannels>
<URL>http://www.xbox-scen...scene.xml</URL>
<UpdateIntervalMin>28</UpdateIntervalMin>
<RotateItemInterval>10</RotateItemInterval>
</Newsfeed>

</Config>

Remember it has to be implemented into whatever skin you want to use also
i just added this

<LayoutElement Type="Text" Source="newsfeed">
<Pos x="72" y="50" w="460" h="30" />
<TextColor>0xFFFFFFFF</TextColor>
</LayoutElement>

To the MXM_SKIN.xml of the devoid skin

you might want to change the color or x, y possition depending on the skin
BJ says it will be easyer in the near future

First thank you.
I modified my Uyenbox3 skin like you said and now i can see the message "CloneXB v1.1".
But thats all. It doesn't cycles to new headlines. Only this one word "CloneXB v1.1"...

I can't seem to get it to work! I added all the red stuff in your post to the bottom of my mxm.xml file just like yours. Then I put"

<LayoutElement Type="Text" Source="newsfeed">
<Pos x="72" y="50" w="460" h="30" />
<TextColor>0xFFFFFFFF</TextColor>
</LayoutElement>

In the Devoid files cfg. When I'm in devoid theres no newsfeed thing at the top like yours. I went to system info and both of my DNS says 0.0.0.0! Even though I defined them....!?

Well I left everyhting Default exept for the color, 0xFFFFFFFF

and Camora I dont know whats going on then, Because Its working ok for me after that first time, My only thought is to make sure your Internet and connections to the network or router are ok, because it gets the news of the net

If you mean the ones that come internaly with MXM
Not that I know of.
with any other skin yes, just edit the MXM_Skin.xml of the skin to add the news element like I say above and edit your mxm.xml like above also

I'll have to add those.... what I really want to do is add the user strings, so it will simply be a matter of personal preference.

Is there any way to make it scroll across the top?
