It good to be back w/ my xbox biggrin.gif Back when was tring to put a modchip in i tore my D0 trace and after months of thinking it was gone forever I learn about fixing traces and fixied my box it boots all the way up. Ok but here is my problem the heatsink that the fan on the back of the xbox blows air too has a broken link the link broke because i droped the borad on the ground and the link broke in 2 .So i wanted to know if i can play games w/o the link on the heatsink and if i do need it can u guys tell me aplace were i can buy one

bump and by link i mean the thing that hold the heatsink in place

Yes and no. You could play games without the heatsink clamp, but the heatsink could easily come off or not be secure. Without the clamp the CPU could overheat and be toast, which means you need a new mobo and mabey HDD. I could sell you a spare V.10 cpu heatsink clamp for $10 shipped.
