Hey guys, I am trying to decide on one of these motherboards. Would like your input or a site that has/may have a review of each of these boards. The boards I am leaning towards are:

MSI KT4-VL VIA KT-400 8X AGP MAIN BOARD W/ AUDIO & USB 2.0
ABit NF7 nForce2 Chipset 400 FSB AGP 8X w/ LAN, USB2.0, & Audio
ABit NF7-S nForce2 Chipset 400FSB AGP 8X w/ RAID, LAN, USB2.0, & Audio
ASUS A7V8X-X VIA KT400 MB W/ 8X AGP,USB 2.0
ASUS A7N8X-X nVidia nForce-2 400 FSB 8X AGP w/ USB 2.0
ASUS A7N8X nVidia nForce-2 ULTRA 400 FSB 8X AGP w/ USB 2.0
ASUS A7N8X-DX (DELUXE) nVidia nForce-2 ULTRA 400 FSB 8X AGP
LeadTek WinFast K7NCR18D-Pro DDR400 8x AGP nForce-2 ULTRA 400FSB
GigaByte GA-7N400-L1 nForce2 ULTRA 400FSB DDR400 AGP8X
DFI LP FORCE-2 ULTRA 400FSB MB

Please post suggestions on these... Also, would like to know which may be best for overall performance and overclocking...

**MSI board removed...

*DO NOT* get an MSI board.
Go to www.msicomputer.com and go to their support forums -- that should turn you away.

You want the best board for your money and least hassle? Get an Intel board. Probably can't overclock it, but seriously - just get a 3.06 Ghz chip, and you shouldn't have any hassle.

i like the asus a7n8x deluxe mainly for the nforce2 chipset and all the features, like the dolby soundstorm, two ethernet ports, IEEE1394, USB2.0, dual ddr400.

i know its not on the list but the Epox 8RDA+ is a very good/stable/overclockable board, search for 8RDA+ on google and you'll see nothing but rave reviews, check it out.

I only will ever use ABIT motherboards with 8 ide's,raid or non raid as the over clocking is great and out of all the abit motherboards that i have had not one of them has ever made a single problem,Also at work we only use DFI motherboards and out of the hundreds we have used i have only had 1 to send back for repair but before that we used Giga-byte motherboards and i sent back about 30% of them because of some problem so another

Ok, dude i have been building comps and so on for a few years blah blah blah.....The last few months we built a few high spec rigs. Personally even though i built a AMD oc'ing rig if i had the cash there is no doubt id go with intel and if so id get the following: Abit IC7-G and a Intel P4 2.4C Processor yes thats the 800FSB one, canter wood chipset. Also for cooling i'd get a Slk 900U and a Tornado 92MM. Trust me that is an excellent setup! For a Amd set id go for a Abit NF7-S V2.0 and a Xp1700 DLT3C T'bred B processor with Slk 800/900U and tornado 92MM. Also with the intel setup id say expect an extra ghz+ and with the amd setup expect a extra 800mhz+. The amd boards seem to have uncountable number of problems. For example if you have the temperature warning on the NF7 boards enabled you get a siren noise which is loud and fucking annoying. Fix: mess with the temperature warning setting, or unplug case speaker. What ever you do dont go cheapo on the amd setup and buy a cheap ass mobo.
