Can I put an X2 4975 or above BIOS on a Matrix chip? Also, if I do this and I don't have to patch games, can I re-enable IGR?

Sorry if these questions seem noobish. I haven't been keeping up to date with all of the new information.

I posted this in the patching thread because the X2 4975 BIOS & above and enabling and disabling IGR relates to patching. I could've used a simple "yes" or "no." It would've been much easier on all of us.

yes any bios can go into any chip

i belive the X2 4973 versions and up have the media checker in it, so u dont need to patch MOST games(there are till some games that require patching)

and there is a IGR funtion for that bios

X2 4975 and up.

And this overcomes ALL media checks. NO new games still need a patch for a media check.

4975 and above have media check one and two. Prior only fix the first media check issue.

Not the evox igr, but the x2 bios has its own, reliable igr built right in.
