| I mapped drives with xp to access my xbox, and for some reason, when going into f drive it will not let me put anything in there, is that bad, if so, how do I fix it???|
The F:\ drive is only for large, upgraded hard drives and does not exist on the included hard drives.

|Seagate HDD are 10Gb but to get the extra 2Gb you need to format the drive. I have used newHDEvox to format and prepare a drive. You must make sure that you backup your existing files, as these will be wiped by the formatting.|
Not necessacarily. You can just format F: if you want.
EDIT: It important to back up everything anyway, just in case!

I beleive only the Seagate brand hard drives are 10gb, however they seem to be very common in xboxes.
