Hey guys,

I was noticing this post:

http://forums.someth...threadid=641616

And i noticed how sexy the games look with the new filter. Is anyone porting ZSNES to the Xbox (*cough* *cough* Xport *cough* *cough*) It is open source: http://ipher.no-ip.org/zsnes/ so anyone with the knowledge of porting would be able to do it.

I would do this but but i have 0 knowledge of porting sad.gif

I've heard that the ZSNES ASM binaries are almost
impossible to port.
Lantus was first trying to make xZSNES,
but he gave up.

i reckon it would be easier just for lantus to take the code from the filter and put it in his own release of xsnes9x, altho Zsnes is apperently slightly better for compatibilty dry.gif i reckon xsnes9x isnt that far from 100%

Ah, that would explain why this hasn't been ported then. That's to bad cuz playing those SNES games looking like they did from those screen shots would be awesome.

I tried the HQ3X filter on SNES9x (it was more of a proof of concept at that time) and it was godawful slow on my 700MHz Athlon. I might be tempted to try this one and see if the speed really has been improved on, but I have to say that it's a bit over-the-top - it's a filter that you use if you really need to waste some CPU cycles.
