First in the evolution-x evox.ini file make sure you have these lines set...

[Misc]

AutoLaunchGames = No
AutoLaunchDVD = No
DVDPlayer = "c:\xboxdash.xbe"
AutoLaunchAudio = Yes
AudioPlayer = "c:\xboxdash.xbe"
MSDashBoard = "c:\xboxdash.xbe"
UseFDrive = Yes
SkinName = XboxBlue

This makes your default MS dashboard be used as the audio player for Music CD's, etc.

Then an entry such as this in the same file...

Section "Apps"
{
Item "DVD-X 2.0","F:\Apps\dvdx\dvdx2.xbe"
Item "XBMedia player","F:\Apps\xbmp\default.xbe"
}

Permits you to launch the XBMP 1.0 (don't use 6.0) directly from the dashboard.

In XBMP's xbmpconfig file...

You should then have these lines

<- you can specify the location of your dashboard (must be on the C: drive) ->

<dashboard>eboxdash.xbe</dashboard>

... The first is a comment, the second points xbmp1.0 to "exit" out to Evolution-X (since you are using evoxdash).

So when you exit XBMP you get dropped right to the Evolution-X dashboard, instead of seeing error 21 or "your xbox needs servicing".
