I went over this tutorial: http://vidgms4me.tri..._ini_Guide.html

According to the tut Evox.ini is defualt as:

Section "Launch Menu"
{
Section "Games"
{
AutoAddItem "e:games"
AutoAddItem "f:games"
SortAll

In Evox I see a menu option called "games", but when I FTP into E: there is no folder called "games". So I am bamboozled about where this imaginary folder is.

I even went into E: via FTP and created folders called "games/nesroms" but when I went back into evox there was no folder called nesroms.

it seaches within the subdirectories of Games, and searches for default.xbe within those

you have to use an emulator to run the roms

so when u get an emulator you put it in Games[emulators name or wvr]
and as long as the xbe for the emulator is called default.xbe, itll show up on the menu

Why would I make one if there already is a Menu option called "games"?

The menu is there in Evox, but not there when I ftp into E.

the ini is tellign evox to look there, if the directory is not present it wont look

you have to make that directory there, evox wont

and evox is a menu system, not a file structure, it wont do everything for you

quit arguing and just make a folder called games, then put any games you want into a SUBDIRECTORY of games, and it will then appear on the games menu in evox(also you have to reboot evox when first uploading games, as it only searches for games once, during startup)

EDIT: one last thing, if you have no idea what i just said above, then you should stop bothering, cause this does require experience in using computers... and you are just another mindless n00b who thinks they can do it all without a hitch
