Just curious, not sure if anyone else would be interested in this, but after I made my xboxdash progressive scan, the only thing that still shows up as 480i is the actual boot screen. Do you think it would be even possible to display it in progressive scan as well?

It's probably too much trouble than it's worth even if it's at all possible. Who still watches the intro anyway?

I want 480p bios. Saves my TV the trouble of resyncing. Every time i reboot it has to switch from 480p to 480i just to show a couple seconds of some lame logo then back to 480p. It gets old. Im with you ZildjianKX!

Do I need the Advanced AV pack to show 480i or does the XBOX show it automatically.

For some reason my TV flickers when ever I play Midnight Club 2 dry.gif

i'd like to see 480p but it would be near the bottom of the list of must have features...

I was just thinking about this the other day - 480p option would be a nice addition to XBTool.

<XLNC - xbox automatically outputs at 480i so that all televisions can see it. You need the HD pack for 480p, 720p, and 1080i. I have no idea why your Midnight Club flickers other than just the quality of the game itself (looks great to me in 480p widescreen)

The quality of Midnight Club 2 is great but my TV only flickers at the begginning for a second or 2 when showing the R* logo

I have a widescreen TV, what's the real advantage I have with an advanced AV pack. I think its something to do with the resolution but I'm not sure

Can somebody post 2 pics of comparison

I also posted about this, i have the x2vga hd adapter, and my dash is 480p, so is my DVD player, even have a copy of a hacked 480p ms dash but i would love to have a 480p bios, (maybe an option in xbtool) whats the sense of editing the colors if you can only see half of it and a bunch of ugly lines. ( But if your like me i have a 47 inch samsung HDTV with the HDTV adapterwhich means it makes no difference/ 480i/ 480p, but when using the X2VGA, on my 21 inch monitor, it makes a big difference.
