My Xbox was damaged--the dvd tray wont open completely and it doesnt recognize the games I put into it. I can, however, still boot to the dashboard.

I now have my replacement xbox. (I also have a memory card)

What is the easiest way to go about getting my PSO game data off the old xbox hd and on to the new one? I dont want to loose my characters!

Is there any way to load PSO onto the old xbox? Should I temporarily switch the dvd drives? SHould I hook the old HD up to my PC following the instruction guide on this site?

Would love to hear your suggestions. I am pretty good with computer Hardware, etc so please dont hold back.

Are the PSO saves too big to fit on the memory card? (I don't have Phanstasy Star Online, so I don't know). If you have a modded xbox, you can just FTP the "e" folder over to your comp. Then, of course, you would have to buy a new xbox, mod it, and then FTP the files back over to your new modded xbox. Or, you could just swap out the DVD drive (either by using a PC DVD drive, or buying a broken one on e-bay that just has a problem with the HD.........but I would recommend the first option of the 2).
