I was wondering is there a way to flash a chip without a programmer and a bios on the chip. Like with just a CD to flash it or something? I'm not sure if i'm making sense but does anyone no? Thanks biggrin.gif

You are correct in that you are not making sense.

The answer to what I think that you are asking is that it all depends on the chip you have. The X2Pro has a programmer built in, and you can flash a chip from EvoX, but you need a working bios on the chip to load EvoX.

edit: typo

you can flash a mod-chip via evox if it have a working bios in it.
if you flash a mod-chip with no programmer and the flash failed, you probably have to buy the programmer...
