Screw Wont Tighten

hey. i'm putin in an x 2.2 lite plus and the screw won't tighten. what do i do? sad.gif help...plz!

If you stripped the threading on the screwhole in the bottom of the case, you have a couple different options:

1) you could use some hot glue to hold the screw against the hole. It doesn't have to be incredibly right - just make sure the screwholder maintains constant contact with the contact on the board.
2) you could use another wire to extent the screwholder to another screwhole on the board.

EDIT: Obviously you have a number of different ground points to which you could solder the ground wire, but I was trying to think of no solder alternatives.

You really don't need it to tighten and it most likely won't tighten, as long as they make contact its good enough cuz the screw just grounds it.

You can also try the nut and bolt method. Insert the bolt from the bottom of the mobo and screw the nut on from the top

I hear it helps to use a slightly wider screw.
