OK, I walked into my son's room to play some xbox. When I walked in the door the screen on the TV had Slayer's dash with the words loading on the bottom. I had never seen that screen before so I asked my son (7) what he did. He said that all he did was push the "X" button on the controller. The system froze and so I turned it off and rebooted. That was when it happened...

All I get is the original dash. It doesn't go to Slayer.. only MS???

Also, while in the process of checking the ribbon and othe connections, I think I may have messed with the dip settings. I have 4 on and the rest off. I think that's how it was.

Can anyone tell me what he did? It's like the chip is off. What was the "LOADING" screen all about? Did he select a wrong setting. Is there selection for go to original dashboard and if so, how do I get back to Slayer??

Any help will be appreciated!

Thanks,
DS

sounds like your chip is disabled or flashed with a bios that doesn't boot to evoxdash.xbe
reflash with 4977 or 4978.03 if you want ftp access without evox dash
