I have copied xboxdash.xbe to my computer and rename it to ybox.xbe, and renamed msdashboard.xbe to xboxdash.xbe, so now my xbox start on Evo dashboard (ybox.xbe) and MS dashboard is on (xboxdash.xbe), have i done it right?
i use V2.5.colormod.err.ybox.....

So can i update my MS dashboard now from splinter cell or another game???

Yes your set to go if I'm reading this right.

yboxdash.xbe is evox dashboard, and loading by bios (.ybox version)

xboxdash.xbe is stock MS dashboard

If the above is true, then your good. However, I would suggest updating your dashboard for live from a NON-BETA version of this game or others.

Okey, but you see i have a PAL xbox and i have read that if i update my xbox with NTSC files, my xbox will nuke....
So when i shall Play Splinter cell, is it best thar i remove update.xbe så that my xbox not get updated, because i better wait to i Xbox live come in Europe, but but, Now im ready wink.gif

Is that right?

Ahh you didn't mention you had a PAL box at first.

Yea, you want to avoid using the update from an NTSC game. Removing the update files is your best bet.

I remember someone posted about how they updated their PAL dashboard to live, but I can't remember how or what the details were.. Just do a search for it.
