a 300 gig hard drive or this Stand Alone Divx + everything player...

This has been in the works for a while. I have not heard much as of late but I still would rather have my XBOX as it does more than the unit that is being sold for $299.00. Well, we will hear more about this I am sure.

it uses FFmpeg which is one think XBMP uses tongue.gif

Several other products like this are already out and a ton are on the way. Most of them are billed as network-connected dvd/divx players.

They serve their purpose, but imho don't compare to the xbox with its hard drive goodness (which is now lite years ahead...thanks oz_paul) , emulators, homebrew, and oh, by the way Xbox games...
