If you look inside the xbox you will see 3 clip's one in the center and one on each side. lift up on the left side one and then pop the out side clip at the top and bottem, they you should be ok from there.

If you need to you can even pull at the top corner above the three clips. The first one or two should give easy. After that it takes a bit of force. Just be careful when the thing lets go, and make sure your front panel is unplugged.

AAARG!!

right, i got the panel off thanks to a bit of messin about but heres another GREAT tip for n00bs. WHEN SOLDERING ON LED'S, MAKE SURE ITS THE RIGHT FUCKING LED'S. grr.gif

I went through all the hassle to solder on blue and red LED's and the reds are fine but the blue ones are really dim....just not bright enough! mad.gif

Looking at maplins website i now see i ordered standard shitty blue LEDs, didnt think to get high/super brightness ones.

Anyway, FYI i went to buy them last saturday morning, and had been at The Arches nightclub in Glasgow the night before. i got home at 6am was still recovering when i went shopping.

I pulled mine off with my bare hands. I've do all mine that way now. Just put your fingers under the edges, and peal back like your pealing an orange. It's easier then you think. wink.gif
