anyone with any flashing experience with the bioxx chip? it comes with built in parellel port so i guess i am safer than most other chips to upgrade due to having the port available.

I assume that i can add Xecutor2 latest code to this ?

Cheers

I'm not positive, but I think this should be under the smartxx forum, as I believe it is a chip from the same people..

Other than that, nope, no experience with these chips whatsoever. But if it says its flashable, and you have a method of flashing it from your PC using the LPT port then you should be fairly safe. Make sure and backup the current bios and copy it to your PC before you flash the new one, just in case.

I know of no reason why the latest xecutor2 bios wouldn't work..

cool. thanks for that.

As i never installed this chip, i didnt own the xbox at the time it was done.

i need to find more info on them ie: the flashing software. I will go in search but if anyone has a quick link ill be happy to source the rest myself.

i think i have 4976.02 code at the mo ut the time has come for some additions.

any pointers / issues / concerns would be greatly appreciated here.

Many thanks again
